JUNIOR COUNCIL
The Junior Council is a dynamic and diverse group of individuals between the ages of approximately 21 and 40, committed to supporting the Neue Galerie’s mission. Each season, members are engaged with exclusive programming, both in and outside the museum, centered on early twentieth-century German and Austrian art and design. The ultimate goal of the group is to help secure the future growth, development and success of the museum. Membership dues begin at the Contributing level.
Events will include behind-the-scenes tours of the Neue Galerie’s current exhibitions and permanent collection; visits to galleries and auction houses; wine-tasting dinners; artist’s studio visits and gallery talks; networking opportunities with like-minded young professionals; and multidisciplinary lectures.
For further information please contact Nadine Dosa, Manager, Membership and Development, at (212) 628-6200, ext. 475 or email [email protected].
HALLO-WIEN
Monday, October 30, 8-10:30 p.m.
Join young supporters of the Neue Galerie for the return of Hallo-Wien, the beloved annual celebration of the museum's Junior Council.
Come in costume and enjoy an evening of mischief and revelry inside the museum’s historic, gilded-age mansion. There will be tricks and treats aplenty, including a cabaret performance by Kim David Smith, tarot readings, and a costume competition. Drinks and canapés will be served by the celebrated Café Sabarsky, and the entire museum will be open for private viewing of the special exhibition “Max Beckmann: The Formative Years, 1915-1925.”
