Two of the principal goals of Neue Galerie New York are to bring a sense of perspective back to Germanic culture of the early twentieth century, and to make the best of this work available to American and other audiences for both scholarly and aesthetic inquiry.
SCHOOL GROUP VISITS WITH A GUIDE
Educational guided tours for students are tailored to meet the needs and interests of participating groups, and can focus on the permanent collection or on temporary exhibitions. While our museum policy notes that children under the age of 12 years old are not admitted during regular hours, we do make special arrangements to accommodate school groups.
To inquire about scheduling a school visit, please complete this form.
SCHOOL GROUP VISITS WITHOUT A GUIDE
Open to high school and college groups that want to explore the museum’s galleries without a guided tour. Children aged 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult; children under 12 are not admitted to the galleries, though we would be delighted to coordinate a guided school visit (details above).
Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance. Outside lectures are not permitted.
