What are the Book Store and Design Shop hours?
The Book Store and Design Shop are open to visitors Monday and Wednesday–Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The shops are closed on Tuesday, but remain open online and fulfilling orders 24/7 at shop.neuegalerie.org.

How do I access the shops?
The Book Store and Design Shop are located on the main floor of the museum at 1048 Fifth Avenue (at 86th Street). Admittance to the shops will be contingent upon available capacity on site, so you may need to wait your turn to enter.

Shipping and handling charges provide for the processing, packing, and delivery of the products you purchase.

Additional shipping and handling charges may be applied for larger, heavier, or especially fragile items. This additional charge will not be reflected in your final checkout total. In the event that an additional shipping charge is necessary, a sales associate will contact you prior to processing your transaction.

Please note that Design Shop items will be shipped separately from Book Store items. Multiple-box shipments sent to the same destination address may arrive at different times.

Domestic Shipping and Handling
Most items are shipped from the Neue Galerie via FedEx Ground. Please allow 5-12 business days for delivery. In the event of a delay, we will notify you either by telephone or e-mail. Items ordered together may not arrive in the same box.

International Shipping and Handling
Neue Galerie purchases can be shipped to most international destinations. Items will be shipped at standard international rates, using FedEx. All duties and customs are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

If you would like to receive an international shipping quote prior to placing your order, please contact the Book Store or Design Shop during regular business hours.

Rush Delivery
Expedited shipping service is available for most items. Messenger service is available for deliveries within Manhattan only.

You may return your merchandise within 30 days for an exchange, refund, or store credit. Items must be in new, unused condition, and accompanied by the original receipt or gift receipt. Jewelry, fine silver, rare books, mark-down and special orders are final sale, and cannot be returned.

If a product is not immediately available, we may need to postpone shipping until it is back in stock. In the event of a delay, we will notify you immediately by telephone or e-mail.

Gift wrapping and handwritten personal messages are available for an additional fee. Some restrictions may apply.

Shipments to New York addresses will include an 8.875% sales tax, computed after adding shipping and handling and any express delivery charges.

Members of the Neue Galerie starting at the Individual level and above receive a 10-20% discount on most items. If you are not yet a member of the Neue Galerie, please join today to receive all the benefits of Membership. You will be immediately eligible for the discount on your current order. Please note that your discount may not be calculated at checkout, but our staff will confirm your discount status upon receipt of your order.
