Marking its 46th year, the annual Museum Mile Festival—New York City’s biggest block party—takes place on Tuesday, June 18, rain or shine! Join us from 6 to 9 p.m. and walk the Mile on Fifth Avenue between 82nd Street and 110th Street while visiting eight of New York City’s finest cultural institutions:
📍 82nd Street: The Metropolitan Museum of Art
📍 86th Street: Neue Galerie New York
📍 89th Street: Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum
📍 91st Street: Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum
📍 92nd Street: The Jewish Museum
📍 104th Street: Museum of the City of New York
📍 105th Street: El Museo del Barrio
📍 110th Street: The Africa Center
At the Neue Galerie:
For Museum Mile Festival 2024, Neue Galerie New York will be open to the public free of charge from 6 to 9 p.m., offering access to all galleries. “Paula Modersohn-Becker: Ich bin Ich / I Am Me,” “Austrian Masterworks from the Neue Galerie,” and "Spotlight: German Masterworks from the Kellen Foundation" are on view. Please expect to wait in line outside of the museum for entry. Admission will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please Note:
Our Visitor Policies remain in effect for Museum Mile Festival, and children under 12 will not be admitted to the Neue Galerie. Family oriented activities will be offered all along Museum Mile. Please check each partner institution website for more information about the range of programs and offerings.
